Surgery – Neuro

Neurosurgery is a medical specialty that focuses on the treatment of disorders and diseases of the central nervous system and peripheral nerves and related structures. Neurosurgeons are trained to diagnose and treat conditions such as brain tumors, head injuries, cerebrovascular disease, movement disorders, epilepsy, chronic pain and many others.

Neurosurgical procedures can be very complex and require a high degree of precision. Neurosurgeons often use sophisticated imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to help plan and guide surgical procedures.
