An inhalational anesthetic is a chemical compound possessing general anesthetic properties that can be delivered via inhalation. They are administered through a face mask, laryngeal mask airway or tracheal tube connected to an anesthetic vaporizer and an anesthetic delivery system.
To hold and position the tubes from the anesthetic delivery system, articulated arms are commonly used.
The FISSO holding systems with the central rapid fixation were developed in close cooperation with anesthesiologists. The purely mechanical central clamping unit enables quick and space-saving positioning of anesthetic tubes. Safe positioning is guaranteed throughout the anesthesia.
